Call for Abstracts
Special technical sessions on “Recent Advances on extraction, Purification and Downstream Processing of Active ingredients from Medicinal and Aromatic Plants” and “Novel Uses, Improved Cultivation Methods, and Nursery Practices for Medicinal Plants”will be organized in the conference which will be mostly attended by R&D persons, university students and technical persons from the industries.
Organizing committee invites from interested delegates/participants to submit abstract for presentation (online oral or e-poster) on the final day parallel session. The abstract must be typed in English with the title of the paper, name of Author(s), and affiliation in MS Word (abstract strictly not more than 500 words).

The Consecutive success of 1st& 2nd “International Conference and Buyers Sellers Meet on Medicinal Plants Used in Lifestyle Products” organized during 08-10 February 2021 & 28-30 June 2022 respectively, where thousands of delegates participated from more than a dozen of countries in each event, contributed impetus to organize the“3rd International Conference and Buyers Sellers Meet on Medicinal Plants Used in Lifestyle Products”.
India represents one of the most important centers of knowledge with regard to the use of medicinal plants for treatment of various diseases. One of the strategic directions for the development of the medicinal plant sector is to represent our knowledge at international level. India has recognized that medicinal plant sector goes beyond national considerations, which can only be addressed along with international cooperation and coordination.
To understand the issues related to medicinal and aromatic Plants, to exchange ideas on different aspects of medicinal and aromatic plants and to formulate future strategies in the interest of researchers, growers, traders and industrialist involved in the process of management of medicinal plants & its products, the present International conference is being organized.
The conference aims to highlight the crucial role of medicinal plants cultivation, advances in research and extension towards farming community in an ecological, environmental and economically sustainable way. A special emphasis will be given to streamline the supply chain and value addition of medicinal plants at the former's end.

Regional Cum Facilitation Center (RCFC), Eastern Region
RCFC, Eastern Region, NMPB, Jadavpur University has been established as one of the seven such Centers in different regions of the country under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India for effective coordination of NMPB Programmes.
National Medicinal Plants Board
The National Medicinal Plants Board has been established by Government of India to coordinate with all matters relating to Medicinal Plants and Support Policies and Programs for growth of trade, export, conservation and cultivation. The board is working under Ministry of AYUSH.
